About JML

The Journal of Medicine and Life (JML)  publishes monthly issues. The articles are peer-reviewed from various fields of medicine and life sciences, including original research, systematic reviews, special reports, case presentations, major medical breakthroughs and letters to the editor.

JML aim and scope

The Journal focuses on current matters that lie at the intersection of biomedical science and clinical practice and strives to present this information to inform health care delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Papers addressing topics such as neuroprotection, neurorehabilitation, neuroplasticity, and neuroregeneration are particularly encouraged, as part of the Journal’s continuous interest in neuroscience research.

The JML Editorial Board is open to consider manuscripts from all levels of research and areas of biological sciences, including fundamental, experimental or clinical research and matters of public health. As part of our pledge to promote an educational and community-building environment, our issues feature sections designated to informing our readers regarding exciting international congresses, teaching courses and relevant institutional-level events.

The Journal of Medicine and Life is dedicated to clinicians, medical researchers and healthcare professionals and aims to serve those who are at the forefront of advancing medical knowledge, promoting patient care, and furthering medical education.

All its content is freely available without charge to the user, meaning it can be read, copied, downloaded, distributed, printed, searched, linked to full-text articles, crawled for indexing, passed as data to software, or used for lawful purposes without further permission from publishers or authors. This is in accordance with the DOAJ definition of open access.

Business Model

The Journal of Medicine and Life operates exclusively on a business model funded by publication fees paid by the authors. There are no sponsorships, capital infusions, or any other external financial supports sustaining the journal. Additionally, we do not permit any form of paid advertising, ensuring that our content remains unbiased and focused solely on advancing medical and life sciences research. This model allows us to maintain the highest standards of integrity and quality in our publication process.
